I thought it might be a good idea to give a quick overview of the various models of the Curatron 2000. Other makers seem to have one “universal” system that seems to do everything. Being the skeptic that I am I find it hard to believe that one system can do it all.
We have three models, The Curatron 2000 HT, Curatron 2000 XP and the Curatron 2000 PC each of which will appeal to different customers.
The Curatron 2000 HT (Home Therapy) www.Curatron.com
This is the unit made for the typical home user and it arrives at your door with two applicators. The main applicator is a “full body” mattress. The mattress is 24″ x 63″ and about 1″ thick. The second applicator is a 14″ x 14″ Therapy Pad which can be used for localized pain such as knees, elbows, neck, hips etc. The pad does an excellent job for localized pain reduction in a joint or group of joints such as the lower back.
The system has two distinct series of programs. It has five high power programs which are roughly 70% of the energy level of the Curatron 2000 XP (Our advanced home and clinical/professional system ). It also has five “low power programs” that are on a par with most of our competitors. I vowed on another page in this blog not to name our competitors and do direct comparisons with individual competitors. Most or all of our competitors create very low energy magnetic fields. We do have a partially published table for your review at Model Overview
The five high power programs deliver up to 20 mT (milli-Tesla) or 200 Gauss on the 14″ x 14″ Therapy Pad or 1.5 mT (15 Gauss) on the low energy setting.
On the full mattress you can expect 7 mT (70 gauss) on the high power programs and 0.5 mT (5 Gauss) on the high settings.
The five low eneergy programs are labeled Circulation, Relaxation, Energizing, Wellness and recovery and run for fifteen minutes while the High Energy programs are labeled Pain “A”, Pain “B”, Oxygenation & Circulation, Arthritis & Osteoporosis and Fracture Healing and run for 30 minutes.
Most users use the high power programs for serious pain relief and the low power programs to help with relaxation and well being.
